the xbox360 lazier needs replacing
there is no known temporary fix for this
opening the xbox and ceaning the lazier head with a cotton bud will not help (i tried this) if this has only just happend to you then constintly open/close the drive will eventualy get the lazier to work hence play the game but in the end it will give up completly
THE FIX
buy a new lazier uk prices start around £20 (not fitted)
you can fit the lazier yourself if your confident enuf and don't mind voiding your warranty (but your warranty has ran out if your reading this as you can just send the xbox back to Microsoft if it hasent)

anyone with a screwdriver and a pair of hands can do this !
(save yourself that fitting fee!)

no special tools needed! a flat head small screwdriver is sufficient
only pay attention to the opening of the xbox what is done after that is not needed for the replacement of lazier
were the red curcle is on the picture above is the cd drive this should now lift out remove all screws under it to remove the cover to revile the lazier
