ok well iv had this plasma ball years.. one of them things you by use a few days then 4 get about them..well one day i wos looking at it sat on a shelf and with that i thought this mod up (that 140mm fan on the front of the case is too LOUD eneyways ;)

first things first everything must com out the case harddrives/ harddrive racks had to be cut out and made smaller and re mounted

i was fortunate enough this   I CUTE case front door slides off.
made things much easier

i will WORN YOU NOW please be careful if you attempt this mod as the inside of the case has SHARP edges and as you will be cutting your case its easy to CUT yourself (gloves are a must) i should listen to my own advice as iv cut my hand 8 times as i was doing this mod.
Here is the 140 mm fan at the front that wil be removed
and replaced with the plasma ball
(sounds soo easy saying it but this mod tuck best part of a day ;)
this is not the 140mm fan
you could call it a fake fan.
a 140mm fan sits behind this fake fan
and as air is drawn in to the case by the 140mm
fan moves this fake fan.

sorry if iv lost you i cant put it better than that ;)

eneyways.. i used a small cutting blade
same blade you use to cut thou copper pipes ect
after the fake fan is removed i sanded the edges round
also i had to remove the real fan that wos attached to the case
and make the hole in the metal case bigger as to get the plasma ball sitting thou it just rite
time to see how the plasma bal sits and lookes in the door..everything just rite.it was such a perfect fit.it was like this case wanted a plasma ball ;)i couldn't wait to see how it looked so i terned the pasma ball on
i apologize for bad picture quality
the plasma ball is powered by a 12v converter
note the plasma ball is not powered by the PSU!
i ran the wire thou to the back of the pc and is pluged into the mains
however this plasma ball is 12v so it can be wired to a molex

i am happy how its terned out this plasma ball can also be sound activated

video coming soon

the plasma ball has not affected pc components in eney way
wots so ever
