i had to remove my HardDrive rack due to the PLASMA BALL mod
i used perspex its easy to cut than steel and is much lighter not only that but it looks nice rather than steel..steel is well steel ;-)
there was loads of ways and designs i could of done but in the end this gave me more room and was simple and quick also i think looks good due to seeing the HardDrive coolers.haven't   seen this done be for and that's what i'm after.sumets different :-)
i no wot your thinking..move the hole lot more to the right..
yerr i no i'm thinking the same but CANT due to the oversized plasma ball.I have also installed 2 blue leds into the HardDrive coolers to view HardDrive activity
(1)well to cut the perspex you can use a jig saw with a fine blade

(2)to bend the perspex i used the good old cooker
but a heat gun will do a better job
also look at my list for>BENDING PERSPEX<

(3)screw driver

(4)pliers-to cut the wires

(5)heat wrap
once iv messured and cut and bent the perspex i then put it in the case were i wanted it to go to check if it fits and if HardDrives are going to fit ect. the stand well stand up on itself as iv bent the bottom to act as a leg

all was good so on to the next step fitting the HardDrives to the perspex
the best way i come up with to secure the HardDrives was to use a 2 part mix GLUE .in doing this it will look neater also is quick and very strong
SIDE VIEW
As you can see in this pic the top of the stand was slightly too big and was
obstructing the 120mm cpu fan
sleight alteration and that was sorted :-)
