why would you want 2 fans on a cpu heat sink?...
well first off your protecting your expensive cpu from damage.. if one fan fails you have got the other fan to replace it ( some motherboards shutdown if the cpu fan stop.but some board DONT!)
not only that but your aiding cooling
here iv purchased a 80mm fan connecter (in pic) you can do this mod without this.
also here is a 80mm to 120 mm connecter
i then fix a akasa fan to the 80mm to 120mm adapter
then bolt this to the 80mm fan thats already been screw'd onto the heatsink
the 80mm fan is connected to the motherboard
and the 120mm fan is connected tho a molex
iv seen a 2c drop in temps nowt realy to shout about but evry little helps plus it garantes packup and reasurance that if a fan wos to fail the second fan takes its place
