i found this harddrive cooler on ebay.uk
cost 59p £3 postage
ok so if you can see your harddrive in your case from the out side like my mine and you fancy pimpin her up abit grag yourself one of these harddrive coolers..the fans arnt loud..you can also get loadz of different coolers this one has one 18mm fan other can have 2 smaller ones
ok wot will you need?..a small led pick your color.i got these leds out of an old 80mm fan that had leds built into it.just took them out and i used them.u can by them on there own.just make sure your hdd wire can power then.i think there 1.5 vaults but not sure!
next get a drill bit that can drill tho metal.
also make sure the drill bit is the same size as the led as you want it to be as a tight fit as poss.
drill the hole-be for drilling good time to check witch side of cooler will be showing to the outside for oviusly reasons
ok drill away :)
ones a hole is drilled put the led into it be
for you connect the wires up to led
push led in should be tight fit.no need to glue them
in.but you can.tidy all wires up and your done
now find you hdd -harddrive active led.can be found on most pc cases on the front.disconnect this wire.the led is usually
orange/yellow.ok now connect this wire to your
harddrive led you just fitted..now replace cooler onto harddrive wire it all up.switch pc on.(if the led dos not light up
change the wires around.this will not hurt the led or pc if you get positive-negative wrong way round!
now switch of lights and watch them clicker :P
if your harddrive led is constantly flickering all the time-too much its a sign to get more memory windows xp will be fine with 512 mb   but 1 gig is even better vista users i would recommend 2gig but one gig is more than fine
